The Notephone is a clone of the original messagepad. The design only distinguishes in the bottom of the case. Otherwise the hardware seems to be the same.

There is no sticky skin unlike the messagepad and the ports have no cover.

The machine can be attached to a modem and the telephone dock. The power is delievered by the modem.
